Downtown Denver Rolls Out the Burgundy Carpet for Major League Soccer
When you typically find me at Dick's Sporting Goods Park, I'm rallying 20,000 Rapids faithful or interviewing Cole Bassett about his latest game-winning goal. But for one glamorous evening, our club swapped the burgundy jerseys for a burgundy carpet, bringing an Emmy’s-inspired flair to the Colorado Rapids' annual gala benefitting Kroenke Sports Charities.
When Soccer Meets Hollywood: Elevating MLS Coverage
As Head Coach Chris Armas and the club traded their adidas kits for tailored suits, the Denver Performing Arts Complex became our very own Dolby Theatre. Drawing inspiration from Giuliana Rancic's iconic awards show coverage, I transformed standard post-match interviews into Hollywood-style red carpet moments. "Who are you wearing?" replaced "Talk me through your mindset stepping up for the penalty" as we showed a side of MLS that fans rarely get to see.
